We have a limited number of Samsung SGH-i718 quad-band GSM smartphones with tactile feedback to loan for academic research purposes. This smartphone platform includes software and content development environments (for Windows Mobile 5.0) and is capable of high fidelity programmable tactile feedback. Content development is enabled with Immersion’s VibeTonz® SDK and VibeTonz Studio graphical authoring tool. TouchSense-enabled 8.4-inch LCD touch monitors with example host applications are also available. These units come ready-to-use with actuators, controller, and software fully integrated. The demo application software will supply tactile feedback out-of-the-box. A TouchSense SDK lets you add the appropriate commands to your applications using any host or embedded environment via a USB port. When the Demonstrator screen is touched, the host application commands the haptic controller to play a specified tactile effect, creating the perception of touching physical buttons and switches.
