In the basic demo kit, you will see five different sample haptic applications. Each application has its own customized set of forces, for unique tactile experiences. Forces can mimic what a user would expect to experience, or they can provide functionality that is unavailable in a passive or mechanical control. Current demonstrations include:
Volume Control: Turn on click, ten level detents, and maximum volume stop
Radio Station Tuning: Beginning and end of frequency range, free selection of frequency, lock on to strong or preset stations
Balance: Neutral position cue, viscous damping, and full left and right stops
Fan Speed Control: Clicks between speeds, vibration frequency varying with fan speed, off and maximum stops
Phone List: Clicks to each name, rate control scrolling enables rapid, accurate list control, pops as each name scrolls through selection area
