Immersion's software solutions help automotive developers improve, implement and expedite the process of designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining force feedback in automotive software applications. The design of the input/output models can be laboriously done manually
or supported using the user-friendly Immersion Studio for Automotive.
The software integration can be done either by using the low-level, tedious
communication protocol directly, or by jointly using the high-level, powerful,
platform-independent Immersion API and the code generated by the Immersion
Studio for Automotive. Testing and validation of force effects are time
consuming and both will benefit from a pre-tested and validated API.
