MicroScribe Connections by Immersion Corporation is a plug-in for Maya
to make the digitizing process fast and easy.
Many features include:
- Seamless interface for using MicroScribe in Maya
- 3D dynamic cursor displays directly in the Maya panes
- Scan planes allow the capture of planar data on a model
- Custom reference frame defines the workspace with three points
- Custom tip option allows you to use your own MicroScribe tip
- Take points automatically with Autoplot by time or distance
- Assign lights to MicroScribe cursor for real-time model evaluation
and lighting
- Parent objects to dynamic cursor and set key frames in true 3D
- Compatible with all MicroScribe digitizing arms
- Compatible with Maya 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, and 6.0
