The MicroScribe® articulated arm digitizer and the MicroScribe Connections for Maya plug-in provide several important time- and effort-saving advantages for Maya users. With a MicroScribe solution, you can digitize physical objects for creating very accurate and “light” 3D models and easily manipulate objects in 3D space to speed animation workflows. The plug-in works with both the G2 and MX series MicroScribe digitizing arms.

• Scan planes feature quickly captures planar data of an object
• Autoplot feature takes points automatically by time or distance
