MicroScribe® X Portable CMM
Software Development Kit (SDK)
Use Immersion's MicroScribe X Software Development Kit to add functionality
to your MicroScribe X portable CMM application.
Available for Windows XP, the Microscribe X SDK provides all the files
and information needed to create an application that can collect position
and orientation data from the MicroScribe X system.
The SDK contains cms_socket.dll, a Windows 32 dynamic link library that
serves as the API for Immersion's MicroScribe X portable CMM, a sample
Visual Studio 6.0 project, and documentation. The development files can
be used in Visual Studio to create C/C++ applications for Windows XP.
Communication to the arm is handled via a socket connection to MUS-X
software, therefore any application created using the API will be a client
of the MUS-X software.
The MicroScribe X SDK is available to qualified developers. Please fill

MUS-X software is a proprietary software product from Immersion Corporation
that must be licensed under a software license agreement.
