Portable CMM, the MicroScribe® X Series: MUS-X Software
MUS-X is a software application that ships with the MicroScribe®
X and acts as a driver for all third-party software, continuously reporting
the arm’s XYZ position, as well as latched positions (measurements).
MUS-X software runs in the background, minimized in the system tray while
the CAD or other application communicates with it through a plug-in.
MUS-X software also includes utilities that allow users to set connection
parameters and calibrate probe tips.
