Immersion Studio for Gaming provides a graphical drag-and-drop environment for designing and testing force feedback (haptic) effects for gaming and simulation devices. The Immersion Studio for Gaming application uses a what-you-see-is-what-you-feel approach where users can create and edit a graphical representation of the haptic effect, experience the effect, make additional changes if desired, then save it as a resource file. Its features make it the keystone for creating haptic content, a must for any force feedback developer:

Compound Effect View: Supplies a timeline and graphical display to aid in aligning sensations to sound and other force feedback effects.

Sound Effect Loading: Adds sound effects by directory in order to synchronize force feedback sensations to sound files.

Intuitive Graphical Metaphors: Adjusts force feedback parameters using easy-to-understand pictorial controls. Depending on the hardware device you are designing for, you can see and feel waveforms, grids, springs, and other effects.

Fully Interactive and Animated: Adjust parameters by dragging pictorial control points, adjusting sliders and dials, or typing in numbers directly. Experience the resulting sensations in real time before incorporating them into applications.

Fully Customizable Sensations and Numerous Preset Examples: Create your own custom sensations or draw from the many predefined effects (e.g., lasers, cannons, mud, slippery ice). You can save, copy, modify, or combine effects to create a library of your favorite touch sensations.
