The Touchscreen Demonstrator, a TouchSense-enabled 8.4-inch LCD touch monitor with example applications, makes it easy to evaluate the capabilities of Immersion’s touch feedback technology. The Demonstrator is a good way to quickly test and evaluate the use of touch feedback for your markets and prospects. When the Demonstrator screen is touched, the demo application commands the haptic controller to play a specified touch effect, creating the perception of touching physical buttons and switches. Only the demo application software, which includes the appropriate commands, will supply touch feedback out-of-the-box. You can purchase the TouchSense SDK to add the appropriate commands to your customers' applications using any host or embedded environment via a USB port and show these custom applications on the Demonstrator.
