The Virtual I.V. system is a complete and fully interactive self-directed learning system for training intravenous catheterization. Its adult, pediatric and phlebotomy modules include superior 3D graphics that provide realism, while a state-of-the-art force feedback device. The force feedback simulates the sense of touch for an accurate, truly virtual reality training experience.

Virtual patients respond with bleeding, bruising, and swelling. With over 150 distinct case scenarios, each is customized to be specifically relevant to one of four disciplines: nurses, doctors, EMTs and military care providers. The Virtual I.V. Self-Directed Learning System records and evaluates students' performance and presents a full post procedure evaluation.
