Better Quality of Care
One of the top priorities for all hospitals is to provide better quality of care. For example, hospitals certified by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), on average, set aside approximately $40,000 annually for quality of care initiatives, particularly medication safety and staff training and education.
