Q: What is the Administrator password for Windows?
A: Immersion Medical sets the Windows password to be a blank. If this
password is changed by the end user, Immersion Medical will not be able
to help you if you become locked out.
Q: Why does my screen have a colored tint to
it?
A: If you are using a DVI adaptor make sure it is tightened properly to
the PC and that the monitor cable is tightened to the adaptor. If not
using a DVI adaptor make sure the monitor cable is tightened to the PC.
Q: Why is there no video?
A: Make sure the monitor is plugged in and the PC is turned on. Check
the monitor cable is connected to the PC.
Q: Why is the simulation slow or choppy?
A: Immersion Medical software requires a third party graphics card which
is installed in every CathSim computer we sell. Please make sure that
the monitor is plugged into the add-in video card and not the onboard
video that is located on the motherboard.
Q: Why is there no sound coming from my computer?
A: Make sure the volume is turned up on the speakers and on the computer.
Be sure the speaker cable is plugged into the green speaker port on the
back of the computer and into the correct speaker port on the speakers.
Q: When powering up I get the message “media
failure" or a blue screen.
A: Usual this means the hard drive is corrupt or other hardware within
the computer has gone bad. Please contact Immersion Medical for further
trouble shooting, warranty information, or replacement pricing.
Q: Why are there lines on my screen?
A: When using an older flat panel monitor they have been known to develop
horizontal lines through the screen over time. Please contact Immersion
Medical for warranty information or pricing for a replacement.
