Player Components
The TouchSense Player - 1000 Series consists of:
Your choice of one of these component formats for interfacing to your product’s main processor:
- TouchSense Player software (including Immersion-designed haptic effects) that you load onto an Immersion-specified 8-bit microcontroller
- Microprocessor preloaded with TouchSense software
- A control board populated with microprocessor, TouchSense software, amplifier, and connectors

- Actuator(s), either A110 or A300

TouchSense Software Toolkit – 1000 Series
TouchSense® Software Toolkit – 1000 Series helps you program haptic effects into your product’s operating system. This kit is sold separately and also included in TouchSense Design Kits 1110 and 1300.

TouchSense Touch Feedback Actuator A110
The A110 TouchSense touch feedback actuator is used with touchscreens, touch panels, and touch surfaces of typically from 8 to 15 inches (diagonal). The type and number of actuators will vary depending on product design, mass, and the touch control's implementation.
The A110 touch feedback actuator is optimized for generating high forces with small displacements and for meeting performance and life requirements. It is an automotive-grade device manufactured for Immersion by Johnson Electric.
TouchSense Touch Feedback Actuator A300
The A300 TouchSense touch feedback actuator is used with touchscreens, touch panels, and touch surfaces of typically from 15 to 36 inches (diagonal) or greater. The type and number of actuators will vary depending on product design, mass, and the touch control's implementation.
The A300 touch feedback actuator is optimized for generating high forces with small displacements and for meeting performance and life requirements.
TouchSense Touch Feedback Design Kit 1110
The touch feedback TouchSense® Design Kit 1110 for touchscreens from about 6 to about 15 inches (diagonal) includes components and documentation that designers, engineers, and system integrators need for prototyping TouchSense touch feedback into an existing or sample product.
Use this design kit for
- Technology evaluation
- Internal evaluation
- Usability testing
- Focus group testing
The kit is not a high-volume production solution. It is usually used for touchscreens, touch panels, or touch surfaces of from approximately 6 to 15 inches (diagonal).

The Touchscreen Demonstrator arrives ready to use with all of the components – actuators, controller, and software – fully integrated.
