IN-CAR NAVIGATION

Make navigation screens more user friendly.

Increase ease-of-use on navigation screens by enabling haptic technology touch speed indicators and boundary detection.

Haptics can be used to indicate the speed at which certain movements are made, such as panning, tilting and zooming on a navigation screen. On-screen button boundary detection also enables the driver to know when they are transitioning from one button to the next. Similarly, texture detection tells the user which button is at their fingertips without having to look at the screen. These shortcuts not only improve the experience, but they also improve ease-of-use and car operations.
